Scripted events for Rebuild 2 appear at the very beginning of every new day, right after a possible horde attack. Some of them leave you to a choice, others are the consequence out of earlier decicions or circumstances. Others again are simple status reports and need no further attention. The scripted events are:

- Disaster! : a salute from the saboteurs -6 blocks

- Dia de los muertos

- Dogs attack - Random event, no source.

- Gustav the Trader : first encounter - donates food (12-14)

- Farm blight : a consequence that pesticides has not been researched yet

- Farm blight prevented : A report that "farm blight" would have happened, Has been prevented by the pesticides-research. No effect.

- Fertilizer Bonus -

- Food preserved : A report that "food goes bad" would have happened, Has been prevented by the preservation-research. No effect.

- Horde approaches : horde attack at the next day

- Illness cured : A result of having a hospital. nothing

- Illness strikes : A result of being in need of a hospital. -5 Happiness, -1 Survivor or +1 injured (depends on difficulty?)

- Jet Fuel Flamethrower - a choice between speeding up the heli-process or eliminating some surrounding zombies at the airfield.

- Last Judgement Gang - first encounter shortly after gustav : always steals food (5)

- Love caravan : Opts you to get +10 happiness in exchange for 15 food

- Madman Attacks : Random event, no source.

- Mysterious Scientist : Usually happens 2 days after completing the first research at the lab. Dr. Byukhonenko knocks at your door. See main article for some details.

- No electricity : During the late game, a consequence that electricity hasnt been researched yet at the lab. - 5 Happiness

- Research Translated - the cure gets triggered

- Starvation : Insufficient food for daily requirement. -5 Happiness, maybe -1 Survivor

- Survivor arrives : During the late game, unknown source. Doesnt happen everytime. Happiness above 50 is a premise.

- Manhunt for the saboteur : In the end the choice between killing the guy that torched the heliport or not. Either -5 Happiness and -1 Survivor or housing the saboteur and slow down the heli-progress

- Time enough at last : either progress the heliport-ending or a new opportunity to get a cult preacher

- The zombie condition : the church will start to develop if not banned : +10 happiness if spreaded

- The Gambler : +5 happiness because of the cat

- The Riffs : (4)

- Unused Equipment - status report about equipment, animals included. seems to have no effect

- War with last judgement : 6 or 3 days left to go for defeating them

- Writing the constitutuion progress : 5 days left to go for this ending

- Zombie attack : Horde attack. The perimeter of surrounding zombies is reduced by the kills.

- Zombie bite : During the late game, if anti-venom hasnt been researched yet at the lab. -5 Happiness, -1 Survivor

- Zombie cage fights : Details uncertain. Nothing happens if refused.

- Zombie horde sighted date shown.

- Zombie Shoot-Out - random event, no source.

Trivia[]

  • Something interesting to note is that the color of the paper of the report changes depending on the event. Normal events like mission reports are a light-gray color, decision-making events are yellow, and attacks on the fort are a pink-ish color.
